Emergency Treatment of Spinal Injuries

Abstract

In spinal injuries, proper treatment dose not mean a skillful operation. From the beginning of the accident, everyone must make all efforts to prevent further damage to the spinal column and spinal cord. Depending on the situation (road coal
mine,
construction, pool and so an ) and the condition of the patient (no, incomplete or complete neurologic deficits, and associated injury to the other organ) one must decide the best way to manage the patient not only prehospitally but also in
emergency
room. The author reviewed all steps to do for the patient of spinal injuries as much as possible except for chronic spinal cored injury patient.
